Wherein Bonnie sings a solo

I had kind of an embarrassing moment today. They called the choir up to sing in sacrament and I didn't go up because I am not in the choir. I remember watching everyone walking up there and listening to the pretty introduction. That is all I remembered until Rob nudged me ferociously telling me to stop singing. The choir was halfway through the first verse, and yes I had sung it all with them...from the audience. I am not quite sure, as all I can remember is how beautiful the music was, but Rob tells me I was raising the roof all. by. my. self.

Te he he. I wish I could have been there for that. Be expecting a call to join the ward choir soon.

Yup, sounds like you should be in the choir. That way, you will have a reason to raise the roof. Remember a song unto the lord something something something. I don't remember. But I am sure it said something profound.

I bet the song was "My Bonnie lies over the ocean, my Bonnie lies over the sea....."

You are really good at that one.

Wish I was there. To video tape it.

You were singing .all.by.yourself. And I am sitting here laughing. all. by. myself!!!

I can only compare that to sitting in priesthood meeting in the chapel when I was 12 and thinking it was sacrament meeting. I sang the opening song with the men and didn't even skip a beat. Dad had to come over to me and tell me I was in Priesthood. I think this all happened after a time schedule change. It didn't cure my obliviousness, believe me! I am glad to know I am not the only one in the family with this syndrome! By the way, it was no fun walking out of that chapel with all of the men snickering at me.
