Hanna Montana Moments...brought to you by her greatest fans

Alexis: Dad you want to hear this song I know?

Dad: Sure.

7-year-old Alexis (in her Hanna Montana way): If we were a movie, you would be the right guy and I would be the best friend that you would fall in love with. In the end we would be laughing, watching the sunset, fade to black, show the names, play the happy song...

Dad (a little dumbstruck): Um yeah. I know a song too. Wanna hear?

Alexis: Yeah!

Dad: Head shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes, knees and toes... Oh and here is another one! John Jacob Jingleheimer Smith! His name is my name tooooo!

Mom (upstairs): Giggle, chortle, snort!

Alexis: That one IS funny dad! Much better than Hannah Montana huh?

Dad: Yep!

Brooklyn: Willow thinks Hannah Montana stinks. She doesn't stink huh mom? She probably smells REALLY good!

Mom: No, I don't think she stinks either. She probably doesn't even need deodorant yet...

Side note: I find it interesting that though we don't own any Hannah Montana "stuff" her "stuff" never fails to find its way into my kids heads...

Amen on the side note. I won't let her in my house, but somehow she keeps finding her way in.

Rob has such a funny sense of humor!

Jeremy's got a HUGE crush on her and I don't think he has even seen an episode. Hmm.

What is the big deal about her, anyway. I think she stinks even though she does wear deoderant.

OH my goodness you crack me up. See with us, it isn't so much Hannah Montana...it's Dora. Naomi has not even seen 1 episode...and yet she wants a Dora doll for Christmas. Tell me how that makes sense!

Amen, bon bon! My THREE year old daughter brings her up from time to time! I have no idea how she even know who she is. Actually, I guess it's hard NOT to know...that girl is everywhere!

I'm not sure what planet I'm on when my kids turn on their music either. Bunch of hairy-arm pit body odor musicians all sound the same to me.

Does that mean I'm old? (Even worse if you know that I love the music from decades before my birth, losing my taste for it as talent declined porportionately, decade by decade starting in the 60's)

C'mon, you mean you weren't singing the back up?! I mean Hannah is supposed to sing it with "Chad" from you-know-that-other-famous-Disney-movie-that-comes-out-next-weekend... REMEMBER New Kids?! LOL.

Eye Doc, yes that does mean your old. But I feel your pain; I'm old too, apparently. I remember when my parents were "so old" because they couldn't stand the current music of the day. Now I find myself often thinking similarly. Well, to be honest, I like quite a large variety of music for different decades and generations, but I'm definitely not up on the latest, nor do I feel like I'm missing out because of it.

IF I've ever even heard a Hannah Montana song, I wouldn't have known it. I don't have anything in the house of hers, at least not knowingly or intentionally. I just hope Jessica doesn't start asking for it either. I quickly pass over anything I see with her or any others like her, just because I don't want my kids idolizing the wrong things/people.

Funny story, though. I love Rob's response! Fabulous! :-)
