Baking brownies with my mom. By: Jordan

My mom said she was blogstalking (whatever that means) and found these delicious brownies she wanted to make with me...

Well here is our brownies before we did all that mint stuff with them.

Now we made the mint frosting.

We put green food coloring in it.

Then spread it on the brownies.

No, we didn't let dad take a piece of the brownies.
Instead we had to let picky Brandon take a piece out before putting mint on it. But look at the tiny piece HE got compared to the whole pan WE got to eat!

Next, we started mixing the chocolate frosting to go on top.

We spread that on. Just when I thought it was time to eat them, we had to put them in the freezer to set up!

Here is the final results. Can you see the difference?

And wala. Here is our fabulous brownies that i still didn't get to eat until at least 2hours later. JK!!

Jordan, you need to come to my house and make me some of those yummy looking brownies!!! Was Brandon wanting more when he saw how good they really were when they were done? I would have eaten each and every last one of them! :)

All you need are some walnuts on top or something! That wasn't very nice putting pictures like that on there when we can't even have any! Oh, they looked sooooooo good!!! Let's see, you could mail us some; just wrap them up good with a piece of bread in it so that they don't go stale. I'll be watching the mail for them. Thanks! (JK)
Looks like you had fun anyway. And as for Brandon, I'd say he got the raw end of the deal, and it's his own fault! Too bad! Thanks for joining us in Blogland, Jordan! :-) Tami

Jordan, do you think you could get my Katie interested in cooking. She inherited the Shingleton girl cooking gene, which is basically you dont cook, and take pride in the fact. There is no Platt to be found in her where cooking is concerned- but there is hope. Isaiah and Savannah love to cook. That still doesnt help Katie though...
